Flames of Seven Gables
It was called Seven Gables,
a house of ill repute;
mortal sins run rampant
feasting off the devil's fruit.
There were no strangers
in this den of iniquities;
it knew men of reputation,
murderers, whores and thieves.
Bars and shutters sealed the windows
of this evil house of sin;
holding all the secrets
of the perverted minds within . . .
The Woodlands
A weathered sign that read 'KEEP OUT'
hung on a rusty fence;
beyond was brush, briars and clinging vines
in the woodlands dark and dense.
Shadows danced like creepy things,
the air had an eerie feel;
the smell of death would take your breath,
grueling sounds would make you chill.
The legend goes that restless souls
in these woodlands roam around;
and the devil himself comes up from hell
and walks this cursed ground.
